Alright, I have to start this week off with a silly moment.

So I’ve lost twenty pounds since I started this journey on June 1st. And I’ve logged that weigh on this blog, in my fitbit, and in a spreadsheet.

You know where I forgot to log that particularly important information???

In my iTrackBites App. Which is pretty darn important, since as you lose weight, you also lose bites (points). OOPS! I didn’t realize until yesterday afternoon when I was tracking my food.

Low and behold, I’ve gone down 3 bites since June 1st. Which could be partially why I’ve been struggling and losing less and less each week.

Sheesh, sometimes, I even surprise myself with my silliness. Here’s to a better week with less bites and more weight lost!

Movement:

Steps: 2/7 days 8,000, 5/7 days OVER 10,000 steps! This was a highly successful week! My Thursday 22,000 step day was due to playing Just Dance on the Nintendo Switch with my kids.. we danced for two and a half hours! It was super fun and I couldn’t believe how many steps I got in such a short time!

Beachbody update: After completing my 21 Day Fix, I wanted some serious CARDIO! So I found Country Heat on Beachbody, and I LOVE IT!!! It’s very fun, fast-paced, and provides a LOT of exercise! I’ve been enjoying it and I believe I will continue this month with the rest of the Country Heat Program. We may also start 21 Day Fix Extreme to go along side it, but I’m all in for Country Heat!

Water:

I feel I did better this week getting my 3/3 HydroFlasks of water in, which makes me feel much better! I will keep working on this, there is always room for growth!

Food:

I tracked every single day, accurately and honestly.

I don’t feel I made “better” choices, just normal choices.

There is definitely room for improvement here and now that I know I have three less bites (points) I will do better this week!

Despite the challenges, and struggles, I did LOSE this week!

A 0.4 pound LOSS!!!! A loss is a loss is a loss, no matter that number! I will once again happily take loss vs any gain!

The Stats!

  • Loss this week = -0.4 pound
  • Loss since June 1st = -20.40 (EXACTLY 20!!)
  • Total loss so far = -32.40 pounds!

A semi-successful week!! I will work more on nutrition, while keeping my steps up, and drinking all the water!
